So I can't really make-out the object around Rachael's neck.... but it sort of looks like a lei... which makes me wonder.... was it a tribute to your shared (and yet untold) Hawaiian heritage?
It was a money lei. (that reads awful and sounds even worse.) We are actually islanders from the island of New Mexiho...few people know that about us.
Seriously...My Dad's wife had it made for Rachael and who wouldn't want to wear fifty dollars as a fashion statement during graduation. Rachael told me that it entertained all her classmates as they tried to figure out how much was on it.
